We’ve all had dreams or ideas we let slip away because they felt “too ambitious” or out of reach. So we justify giving up or forget about them altogether. But every now and then, an idea hits you and you realize you’d be an idiot not to pursue it. That’s how we feel about this whole thing.

With just two posts on Instagram and TikTok, we’ve already hit 15,000+ views and received amazing feedback from both friends and strangers, which has been awesome and extremely motivating for us.

We know we haven’t shared much yet, but plenty is on the way. In the next few weeks, we’ll be posting a more in-depth introduction video that explains exactly what Austin Archives is all about.

Merch is also a huge part of what we’re building. As we’ve said before, our collaborative drops will always go 100% toward nonprofit and community efforts. But we’re also planning to release exclusive Austin Archives merch soon, so keep an eye out for that.

And lastly, we’re currently building a website which will have our socials, merch, documentaries, community projects, and more all in one spot, making it even easier to stay connected and find everything we’re up to.

We’re so glad you’re here, and hopefully our next newsletter will have some big announcements. ALSO, we’re figuring this out as we go, so we’re always open to suggestions and ideas via our email/socials. ([email protected])

Oh, and before you go, I just want to circle back to my opening thought on ideas. The truth is, it’s not the “value” of an idea that separates action from non-action. That might give you a little push, but what really matters is believing in your idea. It can flip an “unrealistic” dream into a “great” one. So don’t give up on yours. Sometimes all it takes is a single moment of belief.

Good idea, step 1: Buy a giant whiteboard (seriously, it worked)
